Ministry Description/Vision: The Lord has been doing a tremendous work in my life and has placed in my heart a new work. Impact Outdoors is a ministry the Lord placed in my heart several years ago and the direction and ministry of Impact has led to many opportunities to minister to children and families through outdoor adventure and activities such as: archery, kayaking, hiking, camping, and many more outdoor opportunities. In 2016 the Clay Co Industrial Board gave Impact approximately 180 acres of property for an RV Campground which was completed in 2020. The vision God implanted in my heart is to plant a church on the campground property (Cross Mtn Campground) that would allow more outreach and ministry to take place to those who need Jesus. The vision includes, small groups, mixed worship, campground ministry, youth ministry, mentorship to at risk youth, and the whole gauntlet of the Ministry of Jesus Christ. Impact Outdoor Adventures became a 501c3 organization in 2016 and has been active in ministry before and since then. Impact has worked with several different Churches and Civic Organizations in and outside our area and plan to continue to do so in the future. We have a great rapport with churches and the community in our area. Impacts primary focus has been on youth and young adults alike who love the outdoors and being involved in outdoor activities. Over the last few years God has used Impact to reach many for the Lord Jesus and continues to do so today. I feel God's call to take the next faith step in planting a new church in Clay Co that will continue to involve Impact but also give the community a place to worship and be a part of God's work in His Church. Impact is in the process of constructing a 60x40 building that would be for multiple uses such as the following: church fellowship and worship, housing and implementing Impact youth activities, community building, small group facilitation, campground ministry, and other Faith based activities that Glorify the Lord Jesus and build His Kingdom. God has and is blessing His Work on Miracle Mtn and we understand His calling to start and continue His Work in a new and fresh way. Bottom line is I and a small group of those who love and follow Jesus desire to continue His Work by walking in faith and offering a Fellowship that Loves God and Loves people. We desire to carry out the Great Commission to Go and make Disciples.
