Ministry Description/Vision: The vision of Christ Community Baptist Church has been the vision of the church from the very beginning. As those redeemed by the blood of Christ, our vision is to bring God glory in all we do. The primary way we glorify God is by gathering together as a church to sing His praises, offer Him our prayers, hear His Word, and love and care for one another (John 13:34-35).

Ministry & Prayer Update
This month we had to transfer the membership of one of our families to Hindman First Baptist as they moved to Hazard, KY. CCBC was now 70 miles away from them; thus, Seth and I encouraged them to join a healthy congregation closer to their new home. It is bittersweet and we miss them dearly!
Please pray for Justin and Cassie and their three children. They are joining CCBC as members soon but come to CCBC with much "church hurt". They are so grateful to have found CCBC and, in their words, express it as "a church that truly preaches from the Bible." We praise the Lord for them.
I will never not ask that you pray for Seth and me to continue to live above reproach (Titus 1:5-9).
Also please pray that Seth and I would remember that fulfilling the great commission, especially in Appalachia, is often a slow process. Pray that we continue to find our contentment and joy in Christ and the good news of the gospel, while trusting the Spirit to do the work only He can do.
